Question: How do you best manage fatigue within a workout cycle?
Answer: I have 4 tips to help you manage your fatigue. Number one: Adequate sleep is one of the keys to recovery. Making sure you get a good night of Z’s.
Hydration is another critical element to managing fatigue. The Extra Cellular Matrix is comprised mostly of water; having enough water decreases fascial adhesions and allows muscle tissue to slide, which leaves your body feeling less fatigued.
Additionally, foam rolling is one of my favorite strategies for recovery. Regular foam rolling (and stretching) can be also very helpful for recovery and rejuvenation.
Lastly, a day of easy training like walking or swimming during the weeks cycle of training can be beneficial. For me personally, my legs are what get most fatigued during the week, so my strategies revolve around allowing my legs recovery.
