With Keli's videos, you learn her belief and reasons for proper form, and she truly believes when she says "It's not what you do, it's how you do it!". You get the best possible workout with Keli's guidance, motivation, concise explanations, and emphasis on impeccable form. My clients are learning who Keli Roberts is. I've heard them say on many occasions during our training sessions, "What, did you stay up all night thinking this exercise up?" My reply, "NO, it's Keli's!" I train a mother/daughter duo, and have introduced them both to functional training with the Body Bar. The mother bought her daughter one of Keli's videos and a Body Bar to take with her when she left for her sophomore year in college. The daughter in turn introduced all her sorority sisters to the exercises, and especially to Keli's abdominal exercises. They loved it! I have a client I've been training for three years. She was always one to ONLY use weight machines, and I had a hard time gravitating her to other more functional pieces of equipment. (After all, the Body Bar IS one of the BEST devices for functional training. It was invented by an Olympic kayaker). I had a hard time convincing my client that she could still get a good workout other ways. I gradually added in some of Keli's Body Bar and tubing exercises, and now she is hooked on the Body Bar. She continually tells me during her sessions how she really "feels it".

Keli is my favorite person to workout with! (Note: this friend of mine has tried MANY different videos). Her videos are FUN! When Keli gives instruction she's easy to understand and easy to follow. I can follow her EXACTLY. I don't get bored doing her workout. I feel like I got a good workout. My muscles feel awesome when doing the stretches. I get a COMPLETE workout. I can feel EVERYTHING working! I tried a lot of other videos before, but since doing Keli's, I have seen a difference in myself. I can see definition.

Fat-Burning Kickboxing Workout for Dummies- DVD
I've said it before; - Keli Roberts is one of the top 5 aerobic instructors in the universe. She is amazing and if she really was your own personal trainer, you'd be as buff as a triathelete. She would get results out of you that you wouldn't believe. I've done some of her other workouts, and if done consistantly, there are fantastic results.
I don't have too many kickboxing dvds, and seeing that Keli leads this, I had to get it. It's fantastic. This is mainly geared for beginners in kickboxing and the impact is low and it's easy to follow because the moves are basic. She goes at a fast pace, but this makes sure that you are always burning fat and calories. If you are unsure about posture and your positioning, don't fret - she cues very well. There is also some options for different intensity levels, so it doesn't matter if you are unfit or not. I also like the safety tips they use throughout and the seperate instructional portion of the dvd that's done at the end. This will really help you learn all the terminology and exactly how each move is done.
Keli really knows her stuff. She has done quite a lot of kickboxing workouts in the past because she's good at it, so don't worry - you are in good hands and do this often during the week and you'll get some good results. I love this and highly recommend it. I find it fun too, so the workout goes by quickly. Pick up a copy and see for yourself.

Picked up your 10 minute solution at the grocery store on a whim.  Love it!!!  It truley is the solution for me. Going to the gym just doesn't work for my schedule.  I pop in the DVD whenever I can and after 2 weeks I'm seeing results already!!  The best part is it's fun!  Thanks for the awesome work out!

The New Body Bar Workout:
This is the first of Keli's Body Bar videos, and uses the step and the Body Bar. It's motivating right from the start with Keli's energetic warm-up all the way to the cool down stretch, and the music is very good. Keli gives you modifications to make the workout easier if needed, but you never feel intimidated that you had to choose to modify. You can visually see Keli's perfect form, and she gives verbal cues throughout so YOU can make certain to pay attention to your form. Her constant cues to check your body alignment ultimately help to give you the best workout possible without getting injured. I love the push-ups which work your chest, shoulders, triceps, AND abs while stabilizing your body. The rhythm changes are incredible.......you'll soon know what "Up 3, Down 1" and "Up 1, Down 3" mean! Definitely a TOTAL BODY workout!

Body Bar Challenge:
Instant Energy!! A challenging workout and my FAVORITE Keli Roberts video. Keli uses two different weight bars; however, it can be done with one bar as long as you are challenged. No step required here which makes it a more accessible home or on the road workout for many people. Keli has created some great compound exercises where different muscle groups are worked within one exercise. She also has an excellent pre-fatigue muscle technique! A great
workout starting with an upper body sequence, followed by a lower body sequence, push-ups, obliques and thighs, and finishing with a very slow, relaxing, and almost meditative stretch.

Hard Core Abs and Back:

Though the mini 4-lb. Body Bar is used, don't think that this is an easy workout. With most people wanting to work on their abs, and many people with chronic back problems, this is a workout that is not only challenging but which will help you to keep your abs and back strong to hopefully eliminate future injury. All levels of ability will find something here, and there is even an advanced abs section. The mini bar is very portable, so these exercises can be performed regularly almost anywhere. The back exercises are exceptional and without having to use machines!

Below The Belt:
You may think this is only a leg workout, but it isn't! For one, your abs have to work to stabilize your spine during these exercises, AND there are lots of balance challenges!! Keli starts with an exercise and then leads you into the same exercise with variations and/or additions. Once your body adapts to this workout you can continue to make it challenging by using a heavier bar. Keli has a knack for always being able to find a progression to keep the results coming.


Body Bar B.U.R.N.:
Definitely a challenging and FULL body workout! It covers multiple fitness components with a major emphasis on balance and agility. By combining the Body Bar with the BOSU Balance Trainer, Keli has developed an awesome and FUN workout. It's the most intense and anaerobic workout I've had in a long time. A great asset for any sports conditioning program.


Straight Up Sculpt:
This video definitely made me sore! This is an IDEA educational video using an exerbar (or dumbbells) and a mat, and though you don't have the group in the background exercising along, I see no fault here. Hey, it's like personal training with Keli Roberts! While Keli herself uses the exerbar, she also teaches you proper form in case you are using dumbbells. Keli comments "who said slow was easy?".......well she proves that it's not only tough to work out slowly but it's extremely effective. Keli coaches your perfect form throughout EVERY exercise. This is an EXCELLENT educational video and a great workout! A simple AND effective TOTAL body workout from one of the masters of conditioning!

Kickbutt Cardio Combat:
Kickboxing, boxing, jump rope intervals, muscular endurance, stability and balance, extensive stretching,.....this video has it ALL! So many kickboxing instructors have bad form and/or choose a tempo which is so fast that their class has to sacrifice form, BUT NOT KELI! She begins with an excellent kickbox specific warm-up and follows it with great cardio punch sequences and challenging jump rope segments. The subsequent resistance band exercises are not the basic ones you find in everyone else's videos. These are kickbox specific exercises for strength and muscular balance. Keli's impeccable form shines throughout the workout. Her constant encouragement to "hang in" keeps you going! Stick with Keli.........she will make you TOUGH!!

Step IT Strong:
At last, here is Keli's long awaited NEW step video. After loving Keli's last step video, I've eagerly waited for another. Here it is and even better than before. Keli's personality really comes alive!! This video is interval training using alternating segments of step and strength (using dumbbells), and Keli keeps the FUN atmosphere alive the entire time! I love her cool
step combos and her push-ups with the added balance challenge. Keli doesn't get hung up on technical explanations (especially during the strength segments). She is concise, articulate, and explains everything in easy to understand terms. You can also start the video midway through for a full body strength (and Abs!) workout without any cardio step intervals. As always, Keli's form is superb, and her motivation and praise keep you going and striving to do
your best.

Fitness Hollywood:
As a personal trainer & aerobics instructor, I have read many books on health & fitness related topics. Keli Roberts book really stood out to me with her common sense aproach & easy to follow formula for success. Stronger Legs and Lower Body
This is possibly the best book I've read to develop your body, mind and soul. The authors are aerobics and fitness experts and the book is written with a slant towards women but it clearly incorporates everything that is required for a complete program of development of the lower body. Something I think all runners tend to make a priority in their training. Definitely worth purchasing.

Body Bar Challenge ( Master your Body)
Keli is a great instructor, very down-to-earth and motivating. I have several of her other tapes and in all of them the hour seems to go by really quickly and enjoyably. She emphasizes control in all her work, there isn't much that's fast or fancy, and I find that this works best for me, keeping my heart rate up on the step and working my muscles thoroughly in strength training.

Hard Core Abs and Back( Master your Body)
This is my new favorite abs and back workout! I absolutely LOVE it and cannot say enough good things about it. It's close to perfect. The only criticism is that I wish it were longer! It is about 30 minutes long and uses the mini-BodyBar .

Below the Belt( Master your Body)
Keli is great, as always. She is a terrific instructor with a nice personality. In this tape, she is serious and not chatty. She looks great with her blonde haircut and is in excellent condition. I really like her voice and accent. Keli has been one of my favorites since the Cher tape. Any video that she does is a winner.

Step It Strong
When I first previewed this workout I thought "Doesn't look too challenging, I'll probably trade this one." Well, I am glad that I didn't. As it turns out, this is a challenging circuit workout that is well balanced between cardio and strength. Usually when I do a circuit workout I feel that I either got a better strength workout, or a better cardio workout. When I do this one I feel that I got both and that the lower body was worked almost as well as the upper body.It was brilliant!!!

Kickbutt Combat
It's a more serious Keli here with yet again a new look. On the cover she's blond, on tape a redhead! As always, Keli is a professional,and gives excellent cueing. I LOVE to work out with her. She is the best.

Integrated Rubber Resistance Training (upper body)
"I think that the course went above and beyond by providing sample workouts for both group fitness instructors and personal trainers. It gave me some great ideas for working with clients and will allow me to add many variations to their workouts (and my own)!"

I liked that this course included equipment. I travel and this is a great way to get my CECs on the road.

Cher Fitness
I really like the ab section of this video. It is really tough, I think it's maybe the toughest ab section of all the videos I have (and I have about 20). Keli does variations of basic crunches, but for some reason she seems to isolate the muscles better than most of the videos I have done. I can especially feel the work in the upper section of my abs.

Real Fitness
I really like this video. It has fun and interesting combinations without being too complicated. It is divided into three sections. At the end of the first section there is a perceived exertion check and a heart rate at the end of the second section. Several levels of intensity are shown, and one exerciser even takes out a riser at the begining of the third, most intense portion. The aerobic portion ends with a very challenging set of lunges that pushes my heart rate into the anaerobic zone.

Abs & More
I loved the ab section at the end of Real Fitness Ultimate Step, so I had high expectations for this tape. It met them and then some!

Total Body Circuit Training Workout
Keli's cueing is perfect and I was able to follow the workout almost without a stumble the first time I tried it. The step segments use the step in a vertical position which is a great change from most other step videos. The second segment of resistance offers some of the most effective exercises for the shoulders I've used! Keli uses a stretch band for these exercises. I have dumbbells and had no problems completing all the exercises.

Straight Up Sculpt
Keli Roberts is fast becoming one of my very favorite instructors. Her instruction on this video is impeccable surpassing Karen Voight with regards to getting perfect form and alignment. Her ab work is the absolute best I've done. I hope she continues making great videos.

The New Body Bar Workout
This video can be as tough as you make it. Decent production quality, great music (though I had to turn the volume up a tad more than usual). Keli Roberts is, as always, brimming with form pointers. Keli is akin to having a personal trainer in your home. She will work your entire body -- even muscles you didn't realize you quite had. LOL. Highly recommended for serious home weight trainers who don't mind gym-style workouts.
