About Keli RobertsKeli Roberts is a world renowned fitness educator, trainer and award recipient who received the prestigious IDEA international Instructor of the Year award in 2003. In 2007 she was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. Keli has also been recognized as the Best Female Presenter, Best Use of Equipment and Lifetime Achievement Awards through ECA, OBOW as well as being named the Best Female Presenter for Empower in 2012.

As a continuing education specialist, Keli has conducted seminars and workshops worldwide. She is recognized as a fitness authority that has transformed fitness education with ground-breaking innovations characterized by her expert skill and instruction.

Keli offers workshops and master classes for specific muscle conditioning programs, Indoor Cycling, Rubber Resistance training, Stability Ball Exercise, BOSU and Body Bar Integrated Training. Her workshops have taken her to Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Brazil, Australia, France, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Turkey, Israel, Great Britain and throughout the United States.

Additionally, Keli is also a certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist, an ACE, GFI, ACE Gold PT (personal trainer), Precision Nutrition Level 1 and an AFAA Certified Trainer. She’s also a member of the BOSU Developmental Team, an Elite Master Trainer as well as being a Master Trainer for Shockwave, ACE, IndoRow and a Schwinn.

Keli is originally from Australia, but moved to the United States in 1989 to pursue her passion — Fitness! She quickly became one of the most in-demand private trainers in Los Angeles and garnered a huge celebrity clientele that included Cher, Kirstie Alley, Jennifer Grey, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Russell Crow and Faye Dunaway, to name a few. Her step classes also attracted many A-list names such as Julia Roberts, Annette Bening and Jennifer Beals.

In 1991, Keli choreographed and appeared in the award winning video, Cher Fitness, A New Attitude, which brought her worldwide recognition as a fitness expert. Subsequently, Keli has designed, choreographed and starred in over 100 videos and DVDs. Keli’s newest DVD– 10 Minute Solution Kickbox Bootcamp— was awarded Fitness Magazine’s top 10 Exercise DVD’s as well as Shape Magazine’s DVD of the month and Health Magazine’s Strength DVD of the year. Keli also choreographed Kathy Smith’s kickboxing video and Co-starred with Italian Olympic Gold Medal skier, Alberto Tomba, in two videos on ski conditioning in Italian. Additionally, Keli stars and leads a work-out on SpiroFit.com – bringing fitness into the homes of thousands of followers daily.

Keli has been featured in Shape, Elle, Health, Fitness, Self, Ms Fitness, American Fitness, Allure and many international publications as well. Additionally, Keli is a featured instructor on the award winning TV series, CRUNCH Fitness, on ESPN. She also co-hosted Target Sports Training, a TV series for the Health Network with Carey Bond and she also had a starring role in Bravo Network’s Workout as the exercise technical advisor and coach to Jackie Warner for a DVD.

Keli is a Tier 3 Trainer at Equinox and Breakthru Fitness in Pasadena, California.

 Her personal training business includes working with pre- and post-natal clients, post physical rehabilitation clients, stability training for alignment and posture, weight training and cardiovascular training for weight loss as well as stretching and sports specific training. Moreover, Keli is a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist who creates individual work-out programs to help these clients get their lives back on track by improving their fitness, flexibility and endurance.

“Winning this award has been a dream of mine for many years,” recalls Keli. “When I first saw someone win this prestigious award, it never occurred to me that one day I’d be standing on stage accepting it myself. I was nominated a few times, but I never followed through, thinking that I didn’t have a chance of winning. Then I started to write the required essays, but I felt overwhelmed. It wasn’t until 2002 that I first entered the competition. Unfortunately, I didn’t win, but I was a finalist which really boosted my confidence to enter again the following year.”
